GPS-20 GPS and Radio Tracking System by INNTOEK
Please call us on 03 9645 0025 for further information regarding the GPS-20 GPS and Radio Tracking System.
These systems are Legal to use in Australia.
The Tracking System
GPS-20 is Australia’s first GPS based tracking system, but it is much more than that. It combines both GPS & conventional radio tracking in the one compact receiver.
The system will track the collars in GPS mode up to 7 kilometres (in real hunting conditions) and then radio tracking kicks in for up to 20 kilometres.
All of this from a small handheld receiver, with small scale antennas.
This is simply the most accurate, versatile tracking system on the market.
The Receiver
The GPS-20 receiver is supremely compact and only weighs 500 grams, yet outperforms anything available in Australia.
It is only 25 cm long and 40 cm wide with the antennas open, making it one of the easiest systems to use in any terrain.
In GPS mode it will show direction via a “compass pointer” and distance from the dogs. You can store important “way points” like your vehicle location, property gates & pig locations to navigate your way back to them.
It can store up to 100 dog collars in its memory (using their name) and is backlit for easy night time use.
The receiver reports on both the battery level in the receiver and collars.
As options, the receiver can connect to:
• Car mount antenna
• A 5 element yagi antenna, that is only 30 cm wide and tiny 77 cm long (with a 30% performance gain)
The Tracking Collars
The GPS-20 tracking collars are constructed of high tensile strength ABS, designed for use in the toughest of conditions and are fully waterproof. They only require small antenna, so therefore are not prone to snagging on fences and scrub.
The collars combine both GPS & radio telemetry functions, allowing much further range than GPS on its own will ever provide.
The collars use a single 3 volt CR123a lithium battery, giving approximately 160 hours use before replacement.
The system will also track any conventional tracking collars using the advanced 433/434 MHz range.
Collars are turned on by either a magnet, or can be electronically switched on & off from the receiver.
